OUR GUESTS - WHO ARE THEY?
Every year we welcome about 45,000 guests here at the Hotel am Badersee. The majority of our guests come from Germany, others are international guests from all over the world. In 2018, the proportion of guests from abroad was 5.6%, in 2019 it was already 7.6%. The reason for their stay at the picturesque Lake Badersee can be different. The majority of our guests are there for a holiday or a short stay, others visit our hotel for a conference. In addition, many guests visit us for private celebrations: wedding, birthday, baptising, communion or others. Company celebrations are just as common as associations or social clubs parties. Our holding company, the Bavarian Association of Cooperative Banks, accounts for 20% of our business. As of 2019, our turnover was made up of 52.6 % individual travellers, 35.2 % MICE guests and 12.2 % group travellers & celebrations guests.
Our hotel team currently consists of some 20 nationalities, accordingly our team members speak a huge number of different languages and dialects. We feel at home here: some of our staff have stayed here after completing their trainee contract, others have already celebrated their 20th or 30th anniversary with us. Some even started their career here and stayed until they retired!lieben.
The Hotel am Badersee is located in a natural landscape that is simply second to none. Our nature and the scenic surroundings are our daily motivator. We are lucky to live and work in an amazing environment, for which many people travel halfway around the world.
