Waste
Less waste and more recycling – this is how we conserve primary raw materials and return the resources to product cycles.
WHAT WE ALREADY DO:

75 % of our food is supplied with reusable packaging.

The hotel has a waste separation system and recycling processes. Old equipment is donated to institutions or offered to employees.

We gave up using portion packaging for food where possible.

We offer cleaning and care products in dispensers in the rooms and in public areas.

We do not use individually packaged soaps in public areas and guest rooms.

Recycled paper towels are available for drying hands in public areas.

In the spa area, loungers are covered with normal towels instead of paper rolls. Only reusable cups are provided in the beverage area. Cosmetics for the spa area are delivered in large volumes from local suppliers, they are filled into small recyclable containers on site.

Guests are provided with waste separation bins in their rooms.

Staff members are encouraged to reduce print jobs and to use recycled paper if necessary or to print on both sides.

Decorations are partly made from recycled material.

Invoices are sent by email.

We charge a waste fee for large event customers.

We collect data on waste volumes annually.

The hotel has a concept to avoid over-supplying buffets, etc.
